Science is a social phenomenon. It is used by scientists who live in society and are the products of the company has done. Science may be able to respond to moral issues, but said they will respond? Crainiometry a dead science, has been used to justify racism. It is the fundamental error of reification. Researchers have used science. Thus, he had a “right” answer? If you say to answer the moral questions of science, then yes. It is not war.Wissenschaft goal. It is only a tool.

I must say I am very impressed by Sam Harris. I do not expect anyone outside of objectivity in the secular world take over, and David Hume argued that there could be an objective well-being and morale, and can be right or wrong answers to questions of human welfare. I am hopeful for atheism in the West. Harris Go!

Vacuous? manual zero? consequentialist moral people. If it is physical and mental well-being leads to a large group of people, it is moral or it is increasingly doubtful. This is the first thing he said.

  17. qaplatlhinganmaH says:

Either morality is autonomous or not, they exist at all. If a person kills his neighbor surrendered only by fear of divine punishment behavior is dictated not by moral values, but prudence, fear of police Holy, egotism. And if a person is good not only in regard to salvation, it is not because their behavior is dictated by personal interest and not by taxes or by love and therefore are not recorded.

  18. dideoxynucleotide says:

@ QaplatlhinganmaH Although admittedly with children to act the way I think I might need to be threatened with eternal damnation for children to love each other.

  20. bocckoka says:

Ethics can not be maintained by force, it can not be achieved by understanding werden.Ich think morale would not exist in an ideal society. It exists only because the early church leaders did not trust the people and their alleged Interessen.Wenn we can reach an understanding as possible on a large scale in the best interests of the man for the most people possible in the time scale larger, then no moral will haben.Und is a task for science.
